Peter J. Pangilinan, DDS “Dr. Pete”

Meet Dr. Pangilinan

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to get to know me a bit better.  Since my last name can be a bit tricky (it’s a lot easier than it looks), people tend to prefer “Dr. Pete”.  For those who are bit more adventurous – it’s just as it sounds…                   “Pan – guh – lee – nun”.

I look forward to getting to know each of our patients, as well as our referring doctors and staff, on a personal and professional level.  We respect that a visit to the “surgeon” is not highly anticipated.  In fact, for many, it can be accompanied with anxiety and fear.  My team and I are committed to ensuring your experience is as pleasant and positive as possible.  From our Lakeside family to yours, we look forward to meeting you and exceeding your expectations.

Although “newer” to the Huntersville area, I am not new to Oral Surgery.  I was in private practice for 12 years in Clarksburg, West Virginia. After many sleepless nights struggling with the realization that we were missing quality time with my family, my wife (Alison) and I decided to “think with their hearts rather than their minds”. In February 2016, we sold our practice in Clarksburg, WV and migrated south to be closer to my family (mother, 2 brothers, sister, 5 nieces). We opened the doors to Lakeside Implant & Oral Surgery in Huntersville, NC in September 2016.  I am very excited to join the Huntersville medical and dental community, where my team and I strive to offer high quality, Specialized Care and Personalized Service to the patients and referring offices.

I am Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified as well as certified in the administration of anesthesia. I am a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists

My wife, Alison, and I do not have children. However, we are a very proud “Auntie & Uncle Pete” to 12 nieces and nephews who melt our hearts and allow us to realize the important things in life. When I’m not playing “Uncle Pete”, I can likely be found fly fishing in a nearby lake or stream.  My passion for fishing, and more specifically my admiration for the beauty of the Mahi Mahi, was the inspiration behind the practice colors and office apparel.

Alison & I are thrilled to have opened this new chapter in our journey together.  We are truly honored and excited to be part of this community and are committed to building honest and real relationships on both a professional and personal level on patient and friend at a time.  We look forward to meeting you!
